Transformers Unicron Over The Years

Supporters of Transformers well remember Transformers: The Movie, which followed on the heels of the hugely successful children's cartoon from the nineteen-eighties. The Original Unicron

Since the second season of the Transformers cartoon series concluded, creators of Transformers: The Movie wanted a fresh "bad guy" to carry Transformers to the next level. The answer turned out to be a huge, planet-sized destructive robot referred to as Unicron.

Unicron Action Figures

In the beginning, Hasbro, the manufacturer of Transformers toys and games, had planned to produce a Unicron figure to coincide with the launch of the motion picture, however the product was not ever unveiled. Unicron toys became available on the 20th anniversary of Transformers: The Movie.
